Eric and Tim introduce the USA Basketball coaches clinic at St. Edward High School on Aug. 5-6. Then, they get into discussing the 3 games since our last show against St. Ignatius, Lorain and Toledo St. John. They discuss preparing for in game situations and the decision to not foul up 3 in the final seconds against St. Ignatius. They then discuss the win against Lorain, the loss against St. John and what's next for the basketball team.

    I love how you discuss it as a 50/50 scenario. Bothers me when people say 1 or the other is absolutely right. So many factors come into play. How good of a ft shooter is the kid we're fouling, how good of an offensive rebounding team are they? How good of a defensive rebounding team are we? How good of a ft shooting team are we if there is time after their Fts? Do we have timeouts? Do they have timeouts? Do we trust that we can get the ball in cleanly? Do we trust our defense to prevent them from getting a 3? And a million other factors. This was a good listen. Thanks for posting.
