Eric and Tim sit down in the coaches' office and talk about the start of the basketball season. The Eagles are 3-2 and have lost their last 2 games. Eric has some interesting insight on how he deals with early season losses, discusses appropriate reactions and adjustments, and also how current high school coaches deal with players who react to losing in different ways.

Near the end, there is a lighthearted fantasy football conversation.

We dragged Coach Lombardo back into the coaches' office to recap St. Edward's 24-10 state championship win over Cincinnati Colerain.

Coach talked about some of the key plays in the game, preparation that went into the gameplan and how the Doritos tradition survived into the Hall of Fame stadium in Canton. Coach Flannery and Coach Lombardo also spend a few minutes talking about college recruiting and the impact recruiting rankings. 

Congrats to all the coaches and players on a remarkable season and being 2018 State Champs!

The Eagles have made the Division 1 Ohio State Final and Coach Tom Lombardo joins Eric and Tim to preview the game against Cincinnati Colerain. They also discuss the differences between the week leading up to the state title game versus other game weeks, and what has made this years team unique.

Matt Goul (@mgoul) from the Plain Dealer and cleveland.com joins Eric and Tim to discuss the Northeast Ohio football teams that are playing in football regional finals this weekend. The trio focuses primarily on the Division 2 matchup of Maple Heights and Akron Hoban and the Division 1 rematch between Mentor and St. Edward.

Then they talk high school hoops, discussing the teams to watch in Northeast Ohio and also the impact of Lamelo Ball joining Spire Academy and how that impacts scheduling for St. Ed's and others.

The 1998 St. Edward Basketball team is being inducted into the school's athletic Hall of Fame this week. Coach Flannery was the head coach and Tim was a player on that team. They share some memories of that season and that team and also talk about the dynamics that made that team a champion. 

A great stroll down memory for fans of St. Ed's and Northeast Ohio basketball. And also some good insight on the traits that made that team title winners and the ups and downs of a team going through failure and success.

Coach Flannery goes through the emotions of coaching his youngest son in his last game and talks about what a coach goes through after a disappointing end to the season. The duo also discusses the approach to the beginning of the offseason.

Finally, Eric and Tim discuss the Final 4's for all 4 divisions in Ohio and give some quick thoughts on the NCAA Sweet 16.
